Philip Boamah Assampong is an accomplished marketing and retail leader with over a decade of experience in the energy sector. He has built a strong reputation for driving business growth, developing high-performing teams, and executing marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.

Throughout his career at Vivo Energy Ghana Ltd (Shell Licensee), Philip led major retail expansion projects, introduced innovative marketing initiatives for lubricant products, and strengthened collaboration between retail, sales, and supply chain teams. His ability to link marketing activities to business performance contributed significantly to the company’s growth and customer engagement. His excellence was recognized when he was named Best Shell Territory Manager in Africa in 2015.

Philip is a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. He is known for his integrity, teamwork, and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. His calm and collaborative leadership style encourages productivity, creativity, and accountability across his teams.

In September 2025, Philip assumed the role of Head of Marketing, Retail at PETROSOL, where he leads the company’s retail marketing strategy. In this role, he is responsible for driving growth, innovation, and customer engagement across all retail channels. He also doubles as the Acting Commercial Business Manager.

Philip holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the University of Cape Coast and has earned certifications in Digital Marketing, Corporate Brand Communication, and Customer Service Excellence.
