Mr. Acheampong is a distinguished corporate leader who previously served for about a decade, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Volta Aluminium Company Ltd (VALCO), the second largest aluminium smelter in Sub-Saharan Africa. He also previously served as the President of the Ghana Employers Association (GEA).
Mr. Acheampong spent 36 years in VALCO, playing various key roles, and rose through the ranks to senior leadership and by dint of hard work, performance, professionalism, ethical conduct, and excellent leadership qualities, was appointed as the CEO of VALCO in January 2014. He served diligently for almost a decade in this position and retired at the end of July, 2023.
Prior to becoming the CEO, he served as the Deputy CEO in charge of Human Resources and Administration, Public, and Legal Affairs, after having previously served as the Director of Human Resources and Administration of VALCO.
Mr. Acheampong is a Human Resource practitioner by profession and prior to assuming the role of CEO of VALCO, had had close to thirty (30) years of contemporary experience in the field of Human Resource Management and Strategic Leadership. Thus, on becoming the CEO of VALCO in 2014, he leveraged all his internal and external influences to bring about increased confidence, commitment and goodwill of major stakeholders towards VALCO's operations and in particular, towards the Company's status as the anchor for the implementation of Ghana's Integrated Aluminium industry.
In recognition of Mr. Acheampong’s outstanding contribution to VALCO, a new state-of-the-art steam boiler which VALCO commissioned in March 2024, was named after him by the company.
In the Ghanaian business community, Mr. Acheampong is highly respected, as he served for 6 years as the President of the Ghana Employers’ Association (GEA) from 2018 to 2024, after having previously served as the 1st Vice President. He also served as the President of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP) from 2007-2011 for 4 years, having previously served as the Institute's Vice-President.
He is also highly respected by key players in the global aluminium smelter and allied industries.
Mr. Acheampong is a recipient of a number of high-profile awards and was inducted into the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame in March 2022. He also received the Ghana Business Leaders Life Time Achievement Award in September 2023.
Mr. Acheampong has brought to the PETROSOL Board a wealth of strategic leadership qualities, focused on performance or results, as productivity occupies a pride of place in his heart. Some of the Boards/Councils/Commissions he served on include: Member, Board of Directors of VALCO; Chairman, Council of the Ghana Employers Association; Chairman, Council of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP); Member, Board of Trustees of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT); Member, National Tripartite Committee; and Member/Vice Chairman of the National Labour Commission (NLC). He also serves on the boards of some other private firms.
Mr. Acheampong graduated with First Class Honours Degree in Business Administration from the University of Ghana Business School, (UGBS) in 1984, majoring in Management. With his wealth of contemporary experience in Strategic Human Resource Management and Leadership, Mr. Acheampong holds a global perspective of issues, given his solid professional/executive post-graduate credentials obtained from the Business Schools of the University of Michigan, Harvard University and the Centre for Creative Leadership, all in the United States of America. With productivity so dear to him, he also had a stint in Productivity studies at the Botswana National Institute of Productivity.

Mr. Bozumbil is a highly respected professional in the energy sector as well as the Ghanaian business community in general. He founded PETROSOL, together with his wife, Mrs. Linda Bozumbil, in 2006 as a petroleum business management and consulting firm.
Through diligence and strategic partnership, he successfully migrated the business from consulting to an Oil Marketing Company (OMC) in 2014 and has since led his team to successfully grow the company from its small beginning to become one of the leading energy firms in Ghana, focused on meeting the needs of consumers in an environmentally sustainable and ethical manner. Through his insistence that quality is not compromised and that the consumer receives full value, PETROSOL is known as a value-for-money brand.
With over twenty-five (25) years’ experience in petroleum downstream business management starting from fuel retail outlet management through field operations supervision to senior level management and consultancy, he has a fine blend of experience which cuts across various categories of Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) — multinational, Pan-African and indigenous/Ghanaian--which he uses to provide leadership and direction to his team.
A firm believer in ethical business practices, win-win business relationships and best industry practices, he coaches and guides his team to live such values and to aim at nothing but the best, notwithstanding the challenges they encounter as a private indigenous company. This is because he believes that quality or excellence has no nationality.
Under his leadership, PETROSOL has received triple International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification. These are ISO 9001: 2015–Quality Management System; ISO 14001:2015–Environmental Management System and ISO 45001: 2018–Occupational Health & Safety Management. PETROSOL has also won several corporate awards and recognition such as the National Quality Award-Diamond Category, 2023; Brand of the Year, 2023 (Ghana Energy Awards); Employer of the Year Championing Diversity and Inclusion, 2023 (Women In Mining and Energy Awards); Indigenous Oil Marketing Company of the Year, 2022, (Ghana Oil Gas Awards); Lubricant Product of the Year, 2021 (Ghana Oil & Gas Awards) and Best Company in Fire Safety & Security Management, 2020 (Health, Safety and Security Awards).
Mr. Bozumbil has over the years received a number of personal awards for his leadership, some of which are: Outstanding Achiever of the Decade (Ghana Oil & Gas Awards 2023), the Osagyefo Young Leadership Award by the Ghana Energy Awards (2020), the Oil & Gas Personality of the Year 2019 (Downstream), Oil & Gas CEO of the Year 2018 (Downstream) at the Ghana Oil & Gas Awards and the Chamber Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2016, by the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Mr. Bozumbil previously served as the Managing Director, Pacific Oil Ghana Ltd; Head of Marketing, Nasona Oil Company Ltd; Marketing Representative/Territory Manager, Oando Ghana Ltd; and a Station Manager under Shell Ghana Ltd and played a key role in growing these companies and won a number of awards for his contribution to the growth of these companies. He has also consulted for a number of Oil Marketing Companies in Ghana.
Mr. Bozumbil plays leadership roles in the Ghanaian business community. He is an Executive Committee Member/Council Member of the Ghana Employers’ Association, as well as a Council Member of Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
He also served as the Vice Chairman of the Governing Board of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMC) for two consecutive terms from October 2016 to November 2020 during which period he represented the AOMC at the level of the Private Enterprise Federation (PEF), the national apex body of Ghana’s business community. He also previously chaired the Legal & Ethics Committee as well as served as a member of the Strategic Oversight Committee of the AOMC.
He is a product of the GIMPA Business School, Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (MBA-Marketing), the University of Ghana Business School (MA, Marketing Strategy—Entrepreneurship & Brand Management) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Sociology from the University of Ghana as well.
Mr. Bozumbil has attended a number of courses on petroleum business management, leadership and finance; and has written extensively on Ghana’s petroleum downstream industry as well as participated in several energy sector business conferences/summits both locally and internationally.
Mr. Bozumbil is a thought leader and thus has been a conference speaker at various conferences/summits, both locally and internationally, focusing on sustainable and ethical business practices; promotion of indigenous companies in Africa’s energy sector; promotion of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity in the energy space; and the creation of conducive investment climate, among others.

Ms Himans is an accomplished and highly respected accounting and finance professional, with close to two decades of experience in corporate finance, with 16 years spent in playing senior leadership roles in the energy sector. She is a chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.
In recognition of her outstanding performance and leadership, she received the Exemplary Leadership Award, 2023 at the Women in Energy and Mining Awards (WiMEA).
Ms Himans also received our CEO’s Special Award for Outstanding Female Leadership, during our 2024 Women in Leadership Conference organized on the International Women’s Day in March.
Since 2019, when she took over the leadership of the Finance & Planning Department of PETROSOL, she has ensured that notwithstanding the global and national economic turbulence, PETROSOL met its financial obligations to its
Ms Himans previously served as the Head, Treasury Operations of Airtel Ghana Ltd (Airtel Tigo); the Commercial Manager of Maranatha Oil Services, a Bulk Oil Import, Distribution and Export Company; the Head of Finance of Springfield Energy/Springfield E&P, formally a Bulk Oil Import, Distribution and Export Company and now an oil exploration company; the Financial Controller of UBI Petroleum (now PUMA Energy Ltd), an Oil Marketing Company (OMC); and Senior Accountant of SO Energy Ltd, an OMC, which is a subsidiary of the Sahara Energy Group of Nigeria.Ms Himans began her career as Audit Associate with KPMG, a global audit firm and went on to become the Finance Manager of the Private Enterprise Foundation (now Private Enterprise Federation).
Ms Himans holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Wuhan University of Technology, China, and Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Ghana, Legon.
She has also undergone the following courses: International Financial Reporting Standards for Oil and Gas (Johannesburg), Oil Market Fundamentals (Accra), BP Third Party Traders course (London) and Excel Application in Financial Management and Modeling (Accra) and Contract Administration.Ms Himans is a Member of the Products Security Committee of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMC).

Mrs. Bozumbil is a results-driven marketing professional and an entrepreneur. She co-founded PETROSOL. She is also the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wellspring Trading & Investment Ltd, a company specialised in providing premium quality corporate brand-building items and office furnishing/interior décor, with clients in sectors such as oil &gas, automobile, banking and professional bodies.
She has about seventeen (17) years of petroleum industry experience which includes providing support services to Oil Marketing Companies as well as operating in the bulk oil distribution sector and serving on the Board of PETROSOL.
Between 2007 and 2010, she was the Business Development Manager of PETROSOL during which period she played a key role in the growth of the business, during its consulting phase. She was very instrumental in handling key clients such as UBI Petroleum Ghana Ltd (now Puma Energy Gh. Ltd) and Scancom Ghana Ltd (MTN). Between 2010 and 2013, she served as the Corporate Marketing Executive of First Deepwater Discovery Ghana Ltd, a Bulk Oil Distribution Company (BDC) at the time, which was the Ghana subsidiary of a Nigerian parent company.
Mrs. Bozumbil also previously provided marketing support services to In-Petro Ghana Ltd, an Oil Trading Company (OTC) then, to market its petroleum products to oil marketing companies and successfully marketed the company’s products to Ghana Oil Co. Ltd (GOIL), Pacific Oil Ghana Ltd, Dukes Petroleum Ltd, Strategic Energies Ltd, Champion Oil Co. Ltd, among others.
Mrs. Bozumbil played an instrumental role during the migration of the business from its consulting phase to its OMC phase as she played a key role in the negotiations with potential partners and also effectively coordinated site inspection activities by the industry regulator, the National Petroleum Authority.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Ghana, through the Methodist University College. She also studied MBA in Project Management at the Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA).

Mr. William Ntim-Boadu, is a seasoned and well-respected energy finance professional in the energy sector, with about 14 years’ senior leadership experience in the sector.
Mr. Ntim-Boadu is currently the Chief Executive Officer of HFields Limited, an oil services firm and also doubles as an Executive Director of the Milton Group, a business information technology solutions firm. He currently serves on the Board of Ebony Oil & Gas Ltd, a bulk oil import, distribution and export company.
At the national level, Mr. Ntim-Boadu, though relatively young, has been called upon to offer his expertise to address major national issues in the energy sector. Between 2016 and 2017, he was part of the team of experts whose work led to the creation of the ESLA Bond programme to address the energy sector financial crisis. Again, between June 2021 and June 2022, he was part of the three-member Interim Management Committee (IMC) appointed by the Government of Ghana and tasked with the responsibility of coming out with the strategic direction of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) by identifying a strategic operating partner, conducting a technical evaluation of the processing plant and managing the daily operations of the refinery within that period. This assignment was executed diligently and their report submitted to the government.
Between 2017 and 2020, Mr. Ntim-Boadu doubled as the General Manager of Astra Oil Services Ltd, a bulk oil import, distribution and export company as well as the Commodity Trading & Risk Manager of Zen Petroleum Ltd, an oil marketing company, and played a key role in setting up Astra Oil Services, a sister company of Zen Petroleum, and contributed to the growth of both companies.
Additionally, between 2010 and 2017, Mr. Ntim-Boudu served as the Chief Finance Officer of Sage Petroleum, a bulk oil import, distribution and export company, and played a key role in helping to raise funding for the construction of the Quantum Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Storage and Loading Infrastructure at Anokyi, near Atuabo, in the Western Region, which has contributed significantly to the financial viability of the company and national LPG supply security. Prior to that, he had served diligently as the Manager-Commerce of the same company and contributed to the company’s growth.
Some of the previous roles he played include, Accountant and Oil Trader, Cirrus Oil Services and Associate (Audit), KPMG, a global audit firm.
He is a Chartered Accountant and a Member, Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), UK and holds Bachelor of Science (Accounting option) degree from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon as well as a Diploma in French from the Ministry of Education, France.
He has attended several courses in energy finance, oil trading and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), both locally and internationally.

Robert Kingsley Yeboah, Esq. is a distinguished corporate lawyer, with about 25 years of practice. He is highly respected for his professionalism.
He is the Managing Solicitor of his law firm, Robert Kingsley & Associates.
Mr. Yeboah has hands-on experience in corporate and boardroom practice as solicitor and company secretary for over 15 years with diverse companies in the energy, pharmaceutical and beverage industries.
He has been very instrumental in guiding PETROSOL to operate in line with good corporate governance principles and in compliance with the Companies Act.
He holds LLB (Hons) Bachelor of Laws (Gh) degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Ghana, Legon and had his professional education at the Ghana School of Law and after qualifying, was called to the Bar in 1999.
After graduation, he began his private practice and joined the law firm, Paintsil, Paintsil & Co. until 2006 when he left to set up his own law firm, Robert Kingsley & Associates with his colleague, who is now Justice Eric Kyei Baffour, a Justice of the Court of Appeal. He nonetheless remains an Honorary member of Paintsil, Paintsil & Co.
Mr. Yeboah also has vast experience in courtroom practice at the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court in both civil, criminal and constitutional law practice.
Additionally, he practices before quasi-judicial bodies like the National Labour Commission and the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ).
Robert Kingsley Yeboah, Esq. combines easily the work of a Solicitor and Barrister and has good writing and negotiation skills.
